"We built up the wall until it was continuous all around up to half its height. And the people worked with a will. He repopulated Jerusalem, organized the rebuilding of the city walls, forbade intermarriage with non-Jews, and re-instituted the festival of Sukkoth (the Feast of Booths) among other measures.
